Alta Mesa Golf Club is a private equity facility golf course owned and operated by its members. Alta Mesa Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Architect, Richard M. Phelps. The course contact is Scott Brown, Director of Golf.

Opened in 1984, the Alta Mesa golf Club has a “Accompanied by Member” guest policy. Richard Phelps incorporated eight lakes on the slightly rolling 160-acre course. The Alta Mesa course features 7,093 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.5 and it has a slope rating of 130. This unique course encompasses numerous lakes and sand traps with fast greeneries which require precision putting. The course is very long and rather difficult from the back trees. The course design is perfect for any golfer who enjoys walking. Although the course gives an open feel, well placed bunkers and lakes challenge each shot based on the tee you choose.

There are many amenities at the Alta Mesa Golf Club such as the Bar & Grill that is housed in an exquisite clubhouse overseeing scenic views of Alta Mesa Golf Club’s premiere golf course. The outdoor patio is overlooking the 9th and 18th green where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the course highlighted by two lakes in the background. The restaurant can be reserved to host your special event, whether birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or simply business meetings.
