Camelback golf club is one of Arizona’s original gems featuring 36 holes of championship golf located in gorgeous Scottsdale, Arizona. The 18-hole Padre course at the Camelback Golf Club features 6,868 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The golf course was designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1970. The course has a slope of 122 and a rating of 72.6. Jim Rose is the General Manager of the club and it is managed by Marriott Golf.
The Padre Course has a parkland design that is positioned on gently rolling terrain covered with luxurious shrubbery. The landscape offers numerous natural hazards with lofty trees spread throughout and various lakes that come into play on several holes. Even though the lovely scenery and stunning vistas of the course are tempting, golfers should be prepared for a challenge. Arizona Golf Magazine named the final hole as the best water hole in the state because it was a particularly challenging hole that features water. The Indian Bend Course is an old-fashioned American links-style course which has been created in a magnificent background with splendid mountain settings, lavish palm and eucalyptus-lined fairways, and picturesque water holes. The golf course has a slope of 122 and a course rating of 72.6. The 7,014-yard, par 72 course is a dynamic layout that will be sure to test your skills while offering a friendly golf experience. The golf course includes The Golf Grill. It is a restaurant that serves American classics in Southwestern country club style. The golf club also has a luxurious lounge with outdoor, fireside patio seating. Golf Rates start from $59 and go up to $139.
