Opened for play in 1995, Legend Trail golf course was designed by Course Architect Rees Jones. It is located east of Carefree/Cave Creek area and sits high in the Sonoran Desert of North Scottsdale offering panoramic views with wide tees and fairways. With its “Long Trail” you will play at a distance of 6,845 yards while at the women friendly “Short Trail” you will be playing at a distance of 5000 yards. This par 72 championship golf course offers 1900 square foot golf shop and great southwestern and Mexican style cuisine featured at its Cantina at Legend Trail restaurant.
Currently Legend Trail is open to public and homeowners within the residential community of Legend Trail will be able able to join the golf club in the event it becomes private in the future at 80% of the initiation fee offered to the general public. For groups of 2 to 15 players reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance. Public rates for golf range from $70 to $185, depending on the day of the week and the time of the year. Rates for Legend Trail residents are approximately 75% of the public rates. Discounted rates do not apply to resident’s guests.
Residential homes range from a little over 1200 square foot patio homes starting in mid $200,000s to custom golf homes ranging anywhere from $700,000 to $1,5 million.
