Mesa Country Club is located along the borders of Tempe and Scottsdale in northwest Mesa. It was created in 1948. It is a member owned private equity course with entrance policy limited to Members only and guests of Members. The long history of the course is depicted by the mature and lush tree lines of large eucalyptus and pine trees lining up the fairways. The holes move left and right on this 6,800-yard, par-72 golf course. The course rating is 70.7 and it has a slope rating of 125. The course is notorious for its dramatic 10th tee reminiscent of the 10th at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. Mesa Country Club is best known for its elevation changes and walkability. The short distance from green to the tee as well as convenient location of the clubhouse make the course playable in just a few hours. The club campus contains three dining options, a junior Olympic pool, six lighted tennis courts, spa, and golf practice facilities which make Mesa Country Club the home for discerning players from all around. There are numerous amenities at the Mesa Country Club such as a complete practice area with range, short game area, practice green, a fully-stocked golf shop, professional instruction, and even a full-size practice hole. Along with the golf facilities Mesa Country Club has a fantastic clubhouse. Set atop the bluff of Mesa overlooking the 18th green and 10th tee, the clubhouse includes spacious men’s and ladies locker rooms, men’s and ladies private lounges, a formal dining room, a members’ lounge and patio, meeting rooms, offices, and more. Mesa Country Club also offers six championship tennis courts, a ball machine, the Tennis Shop for equipment purchase and repair, professional instruction, the gym, and a 25-meter diving spacious pool. There are four great selections for dining at Mesa Country Club: 1. The Members’ Lounge, a bar area with dining and drinks, along with TV’s and a spectacular patio view out over the course and towards the McDowell Mountains; 2. The Dining Room, a sit-down, moderately formal dining experience in the clubhouse; 3. The Swim-Up, the poolside offering which includes grab & go items as well as cold drinks and ice cream; 4. The Terrace Grill, a relaxed outdoor stop neighboring the Golf Shop that is perfect for pre- or post-golf sandwiches or drinks. Equity, Junior, Seasonal, Sports, Social, and Corporate Members are currently being offered.
