Phoenix Country Club is a private equity club located in downtown Phoenix. Immersed in tradition with heritage of superiority, Phoenix Country Club was home to the Phoenix Open for over 50 years. Phoenix Country Club’s re-designed 18 hole golf course offers splendor and excellent year-round playability. The 18-hole course features 6,500 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 72.0 and it has a slope rating of 130. It was originally founded in 1899 but was recently redesigned by Tom Lehman and John Fought to reflect history and its timeless tradition. Members and guests alike enjoy the classic tournament golf course layout with tree-lined fairways and views of Piestewa Peak, Camelback Mountain and downtown Phoenix.
Some of the amenities at the Phoenix Country Club are: Junior golf program Private golf lessons, Women’s Golf Association, Caddies and golf carts along with a Driving Range, Putting green and a Short game facility. The Professional Shop is also an amenity at the Phoenix Country Club. The Phoenix golf course opened in 1901 and Pat Larocca manages the course as the General Manager.
