Springfield Golf Resort is located in a gated retirement community in Chandler, Arizona. The Golf Course has wide, lenient fairways, stunning landscaping and a friendly atmosphere. The 18-hole Springfield course features 4,231 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 61. The course rating is 60.9 and it has a slope rating of 99. This short layout has 3 sets of tee boxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. The golf course is ideal for beginners. With marvelous emerald green, the executive course can be a challenge for all levels of golfers. Springfield Golf Resort may play faster than most other Arizona golf courses, but don’t let that fool you. The golf course is traditional in design but also features a slight mixture of desert-style holes. The greens are average in size and have heavy undulation. Seedling trees are predominant on the fairways, but due to their immaturity, they do not present a problem. The signature hole at Springfield is #17, a 143-yard par-3, which requires a tee shot over a flat face of rocks in front of the green. Springfield golf course is an executive course designed for all who enjoy a great golf atmosphere; the average round lasts 3 to 3 1/2 hours. The Course was designed by Fore Golf and opened in 1996. Keith Oldham manages the course as the General Manager. Rental clubs and pull carts are available at Springfield along with an indoor practice facility as well as a fitness room.
