Sun Village Golf Course is located within the Sun Village Residential Community in the town of Surprise, Arizona. The 18 hole, par 3 course was presented the ‘Best of Surprise’ award and is part of the Surprise Business Hall of Fame. The course was opened to the public in 1987 and features lush fairways and ample water and sand traps, which make for a relaxed and peaceful golfing experience. The course is a short 2019 yards long with a slope of 64, however it will keep you engaged throughout the game.

Not far from Phoenix, Sun Village offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Sun Village difficult yet friendly, and the staff can offer tips and tricks for playing your best round. Sun Village is a terrific choice for your regular rounds of golf or a new destination for you and friends when visiting.

Sun Village is a walking only course, allowing golfers to get fit while they play this exciting and challenging course, however it is an easy and languid walk which suits any fitness level. The course will take approximately 3-4 hours to play and guarantees golfers plenty of play. The course is perfect for those of all skill levels, and provides golfers the perfect opportunity to practice their iron game.

The first nine holes are surrounded by the residential village and provide a relatively fast and pleasant game on flat terrain over grass. The next nine holes are significantly more difficult, with eight water traps to challenge golfers of any level.

Sun Village Golf Course features a Pro Shop managed by Dave Barber that is open year round and sells a range of fashionable golf labels, as well as some spare golf balls if you happen to lose a few into the challenging water traps. Pull carts for your clubs are available for hire, however no golf carts are permitted on the course. The restaurant is open all day and serves top quality food and coffee for a great price. The course is open to the public with memberships available which offer great value for money.
