Tuscany Falls Golf Club is a sprawling green oasis in Goodyear, Arizona, a short drive from Phoenix. The course is one of two located inside the Pebble Creek active adult community, which features beautifully manicured greens and stunning landscapes. Tuscany Falls opened for play in 1999 and was designed by esteemed golf course architect Dick Bailey.
The design features carries over lakes and ponds and features 27 holes of outstanding golf, which are divided into three nines: the Falls, Palms and Lakes. The lush fairways and beautiful course landscape make for an exciting and challenging round of golf.
Five holes feature water hazards, with generous landing areas awaiting well placed tee shots. Bunkers are strategically placed, where 25 soft sand traps are situated near the fairways or greens. The layout meanders through the Pebble Creek residential community, however the houses do not encroach on the course.
The signature hole of the Tuscany Falls course is number 13, where golfers must carry more than 100 yards over water from the tee box to the green, which lies alongside other challenging holes.
The Lakes Course has four tee areas that play to 3345, 3065, 2805 and 2485 yards, and is rated as the most challenging of the three nines. There are 4 sets of tees, with the Falls measuring 3235, 2966, 2637 and 2287 yards, with slope ratings ranging from 125 to 104. The Palms is the longest of the three nines and measures 3405, 3181, 2826 and 2401 yards with slopes between 128 and 104.
The Tuscany Falls Country Club includes practice facilities such as its targeted grass range, short game area with sand bunker and a putting green. After game of golf, residents and guests can retreat to the clubhouse, which features a pro shop and a Toscano’s Restaurant where they can enjoy lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch.
The relaxed course and slow paced community of friendly residents make for an enjoyable golf experience for golfers of any level. The course is open to the public, however the majority of golfers are residents of the Pebble Creek community. At any rate, the course is well paced and almost never crowded.
Right next to the Tuscany Hills Golf Course is its sister course, the 18 hole championship course Eagle’s Nest, which carries over desert on many holes. Both courses have distinct features to cater to any golfer.
