Officially known as Union Hills Golf & Country Club, Union Hills Country Club is the club to join for quality golfing and several other social activities. Located just 5 minute drive from Union Hills Drive and 101 Freeway, the club provides you with a well designed 18-hole golf course with world-class facilities and opportunity to play tennis and to indulge in swimming. This is in addition to various social activities, making it the best place to head to with your family.

Phoenix’s Northwest region where the club is located is largely a desert area that used to be covered with orange groves and cotton fields. This is the theme you find on the club’s golf course although it features well manicured undulating greens of Bermuda grass. The fairways are of appropriate width.

Union Hills Country Club Golf Course is an all-year course that features two creeks and four lakes. There are also several bunkers strategically located along the course to test your playing technique. Add to these a number of water hazards and occasional doglegs and you have a course that suits beginners, intermediate and professional golf players. Its signature hole turns out to be hole No. 14, which is a 360-yard par-4 that requires a tee shot over one of the lakes.

The club offers different categories of membership. Regular golf membership grants you unlimited access to tennis, swimming, fitness room, social dining and unlimited range balls throughout the year at a rate of $5,300 a couple, $4,100 per individual with a dependent and $3,000 per individual without a dependent. Maximum monthly rate is set at $455.

Choosing business golf membership entitles you to same privileges as regular members at the same rate except that you can only have a maximum of five other colleagues. You also have the option of choosing Six-month golf membership that grants you same privileges except that you only enjoy them for six months at the rate of $4,000 per couple, $3,350 per individual and $3,050 per individual without a dependent.

Other membership categories available to you include Junior Executive Membership that is for anyone below 45 years at an annual rate of $4,000 and monthly rate of $350 and Social Membership at the rate. You are entitled to all privileges. While any of the golf memberships grant you access to all the club’s facilities including practice facility, full driving range, sand practice area, cart and bag storage; social membership grants you use of club’s dining facilities and access to all club social events.

Union Hills County Club golf course offers what very few courses offer and is no doubt the place to head to not only for golf but to engage in other activities and social events.
