Located in Stardust Boulevard in Sun City West, Stardust Golf Club is a private Golf Club founded by Greg H. Nash in 1980 and managed by Pete Roberto. The club is not only the center of top-notch recreation facilities but also a home for more than 30,000 owner-members who participate in seven well-manicured golf courses. For several years, the clubs’ most amenities and facilities have been off-limits to the general public. But recently, for the first time, they announced that the exclusive Stardust golf courses are now open to the public. This means anybody will have an opportunity to access and play all seven well-manicured golf courses seven days a week without any restriction. The public, who the club describes as non-members, may book tee times ranging from four days in advance at any of the three executive courses and four regulations.
The 18-hole course at the Stardust Golf Club features 4,265 yards of golf which is measured from the longest tees for a par of 60. The golf course rating is 60.5 and features a slope rating of 96. The club’s traditional layout with deep bunkers, subtle greens, and tree-lined fairways, offers three different tees per hole. It also features a back nine which is considered one of the hardest. This is because water comes into play on the 4 holes. Besides the above features, the club is the center for more than $125 million worth of amenities, a state-of-the-art 30-lane bowling center, four recreation centers, 40,000-volume private library, more than 100 chartered clubs, a retail arts and crafts store and much, much more.
Throughout the year, the management holds several golf tournaments and invites members and non-members to join them. Attendees get an opportunity to participate in challenges of all levels of play from beginner levels to low handicappers. Their goal is to provide people with challenging, fun and fair events.
The golf course is surrounded by residential communities that offer affordable living for single families. This residential area is age-restricted whereby each household must be at least 55 years old. Residents under 19 years of age are not allowed for permanent residency. Presently, it is a home for more than 17,000 properties that houses more than 30,000 residents.
If you are looking for an 18th hole golf course that offers the most beautiful views of the Sun City skyline, Stardust Golf Course in Sun City West, Arizona is the perfect golf course to choose.
