It has four sets of tee boxes ranging in length from 5,300 to 7,000 yards. The course features a course rating of 72.0 and a slope rating of 125 on Bermuda Grass greens and fairways. It offers a fun round for beginning, junior and advanced golfers and a great assessment for players of diverse abilities. Beyond beauty, the bunkers, forced carries and undulating greens provide a more challenging experience for golfers. The golf club was executively styled and designed by Greg Nash of Tucson and opened in 2003.
Sundance Golf Club designates hole number 6 as the course signature hole. The hole is 175 yards and of par 3, it demands a precise shot over the Sundance Lake. The lake provides most golfers with ample mental challenge to increase the hole’s difficulty. Furthemore, the slope and undulations toward the lake enhance the challenge of the green. Being a target-style course in the Phoenix Golf municipal, Sundance Golf Club furnishes visitors with a splendid golfing experience and scenic views of the Estrella Mountains to the south and the White Tank Mountains to the north. Sundance remarkably blends the Sonoran Desert arroyos and washes with unique lush green conditions.
Sundance Golf Club is a must play Phoenix golf course that boasts exclusive features such as chipping area, rental clubs, restaurant, bowling, banquets, lounge, PGA professional instructions and golf lessons. Moreover, it features 50 tees driving range and is ideal for patio dining and 19th hole specials. The fully stocked Sundance pro shop offers a variety of quality items for both genders: tops, shorts, sweaters, slacks, vests, jackets and numerous accessories. Andrew Lolmaugh heads the golf club as the Director/ General Manager.
